These are examples of character design work that were done with a client's restricted color palette. They were utilized in "whiteboard" style animations, as well as for print and digital training media.
Feedback we received on inconsistencies the company's prior lessons contained. Most projects had no style guide what-so-ever, and I undertook the task of creating these for projects once I came onboard.
Client wanted a more cleaned up look for the titular character. Decided to return to the curly hair, but streamline and "less like cauliflower". I don't think we used that toga version much, maybe in one lesson about advertising.
Pulled original art reference from an existing lesson and made a simpler version while maintaining the "big head = cute/approachable" energy of the original.
Client preferred a loose "sketchy" feel for whiteboard animations, leaning toward a "Where's Waldo" or "Tin-Tin" simplistic face.
We expanded the character list as needed, giving key characters titles and specific roles per their fictitious company.
